Prince Charles sent a touching photo of himself and his late father Prince Philip to royal well-wishers, it has been revealed.
The picture was shared in a card mailed to people who had given their condolences after the death of the Duke of Edinburgh.
Philip, the nation’s longest serving consort, died at Windsor Castle last month aged 99.
The heartfelt image sent to fans show Charles sat alongside his father in a small speedboat.
And it is accompanied by a message, which reads: “The Prince of Wales thanks you so much for your kind message of sympathy.

“His Royal Highness has been enormously touched by the many generous messages that have been received in recent days; they have provided great comfort at this very sad time.
“The Prince of Wales sends you his warmest thanks and best wishes.”
Charles’ sister, Princess Anne, also sent a card with the letter A in bold underneath a crown, reports the Daily Express.
The Princess Royal’s message read: “The Princess Royal thanks you for your kind thoughts and sends you best wishes for the future.”
And The Queen sent a card which had a large picture of her husband of 73 years..

She wrote: “I send you my sincere thanks for your kind words of sympathy on the death of my husband.”
Philip’s funeral was held at St. George’s Chapel on April 17, attended by 30 people in line with coronavirus regulations.
The occasion gave the royal family a chance to start healing rifts, with Prince Harry returning from the US to attend.
But it was claimed on Saturday that, despite reports of peace talks, Charles is “still fuming” with his son over his bombshell interview.
Us Weekly reporter Christina Garibaldi said sources had told her relations are still strained between the pair.
” Prince Harry and Prince Charles did not resolve their differences when Harry returned to the UK,” she claims to have been told.
“They barely communicated.
“Charles is still fuming about Harry throwing shade at him and the Royal Family in the big interview and won’t let it drop.”
Harry and wife Meghan Markle spoke at length to TV host Oprah Winfrey in March about a number of issues they say they had within the Firm.
