Following its exclusive garden party two months ago, Lancôme– the French leader in cosmetics continues to break grounds in the Nigerian market with the official launch of its new fragrance- La Vie Est Belle En Rose. The brand hosted the women from its My Shade My Power Campaign, Celebrities, Influencers, Socialites, and Style Icons to a lavish pink experiential event at Wings Complex in Victoria Island.
Guests were received by stunning hostesses who handed them the La Vie Est Belle En Rose activity map, then whisked them into a land of Happiness beginning with the Tunnel de Joie (tunnel of joy). At the end of this tunnel was a dreamy pink haussmannian apartment filled with the fresh floral scent of the new fragrance, endless pink cocktails, champagne, enchanting hors d oeuvres, and excited stylish guests taking photos at the countless photo stations.
The charismatic MC Michelle Dede welcomed guests, and gave them a brief overview of the fragrance before introducing Suzie MEYER- Lancôme Product Manager – New Markets to take the stage with Hazem ZAHROUNI- Retail & Education Manager L’Oreal Luxe. Suzie shared with the audience how Lancôme is passionate about empowering women and inclusivity.
Suzie introduced Powede Awujo, Idia Aisien, Dodos Uvieghara, and Zainab Balogun Nwachukwu as some of the influencers the brand is currently working with who embody the values and objectives of Lancôme.
Hazem introduced guests to the world of La Vie Est Belle which was created in 2012, and is now #2 worldwide and in Nigeria. La vie est belle en rose is an ode to optimism, a new expression of shared happiness. Infused with bergamot, iris, peony, patchouli, and lily of the valley, En Rose aims to turn everyday moments into a celebration of life. La vie en rose translates to « Life in Pink » or “life through rose-tainted glasses“. It is a colorful, shining fragrance, which spreads a pink trail of optimism with every spritz, transforming ordinary moments into magical ones and allowing women to experience la vie en rose in all its fullness.
Other attractions in the gorgeous haussmannian apartment included a perfume bar with the full La Vie Est Belle range, a pink photo booth, an infinity room, and a illusionist. Guests were beyond thrilled going through the experience.
